We carry a very nice Diamond Solitaire Pendant mounting so you can make up your very own pendant without the need to take it to a jewelry store. The mounting is solid 14K gold and is called a "push mounting". These mountings are easy to set your diamond or gemstone in. Simply place the gemstone face down on a table and them push on the mounting. Done, it is really that simple. These mountings can hold a stone that is approx .20ct to .30ct in weight.

Cleaning your jewelry is extremely important for your investment, both financially and emotionally. Although diamonds are created to last lifetimes, only through the proper care will you and yours be able to enjoy them.
Here Are Quick Tips To Get You Started. Store your jewelry in a dry clean place. Each piece should be stored individually, on a soft-lined surfaces, with dividers or wrapped in tissue paper type material. Jewelry should not be stored or abandoned in a pile for example especially when they are intricate. Jewelry and diamonds can scratch. Do not leave jewelry in places where it can disappear, by the sink, down the drain and especially when outdoors.
You can have your jeweler professionally clean your pieces every 6 months or year, and check for any defects gained through wear. If you choose to purchase a jewelry-cleaning machine, or an "ultrasonic cleaner", check with your jeweler that it is safe and it will not damage your pieces. Some Jewelers provide a free cleaning kit when buying your diamond, but not all.

Although diamonds are one of the hardest materials they can be damaged by engaging in rough work and working with tools and machines. Chlorine can be harmful to a diamond. It strongly affects brilliance in a a very negative fashion. Avoid wearing your diamond when using chlorine for washing purposes or even in a swimming pool.
Clean your diamonds only with a commercial jewelry cleaner, a mix of ammonia and water, or a mild detergent. Dip only, and if you use a brush make sure its extremely soft. To remove fingerprints, oils or dirt, add a small amount of mild liquid soap to a half cup of warm water, soak for 2-3 minutes, rinse with clean water and dry completely before storing in an airtight plastic bag.
Use a smooth soft 100% cotton cloth to gently wipe each piece of jewelry clean of make-up and skin oils after each wearing. Once your Diamond is cleaned avoid touching the stone with your fingers.
